Tee Time Tips

‘Winter Special - Studio Show’

To reflect both the time of year, and the growing trend of indoor simulator Golf, we took the Tee Time Tips TV show indoors for a ‘Winter Special’ studio show filmed in front a live audience and expertly presented by
Avidity Talent client Nick Dougherty for Sky Sports Golf.

Working with our brilliant production partners Creative Players, we took over a blank studio, built a studio set encompassing a winter feel complete with bar and Golf simulator. The flexibility of the blank set allowed for greater integration of the shows sponsor TaylorMade Golf and
launch monitor tech partners Rapsodo.

With outstanding guest contributions and filmed in front of a live studio audience, this unique 1-hour special delivered fascinating insights and personality driven content whilst maintaining the Tee Time Tips values of ‘Helping Make Your Game A Little Less Complicated And Allot More Fun’.

THE CAPTAINS DINNER

In the latest Avidity Studios brand funded production, ‘The Captains Dinner’ brings together 3 of the last 4 winning European Ryder Cup captains as Avidity Talent client Nick Dougherty hosts them for dinner.

Revealing fascinating insights and emotional, heart-warming and uplifting stories from Ryder Cup history, Colin Montgomerie, Paul McGinley and Thomas Bjorn share their detailed thoughts and unique experiences as we get into the mindset of a Ryder Cup captain. The content which includes the captains picking their ultimate ‘Legend 12’ European Ryder Cup team from history which will create great debate, delivers must watch content to engage all sports fans ahead of one of the greatest events in the sporting calendar.

NICK DOUGHERTY’S
TEE TIME TIPS

Nick Dougherty wanted to reach new audiences with the ambition to make golf ‘a little less complicated and a lot more fun’. Committed to delivering through a unique approach, we helped create and produce social content mini- series,
Tee Time Tips.

10 million views later, we evolved the format thinking and developed and pitched a commercial half-hour TV show. Commissioned by Sky Sports, it’s now in its fifth series.

STEPHEN HENDRY’S
CUETIPS YOUTUBE CHANNEL

With a keen focus to share insights, access and stories in a way traditional linear TV doesn’t allow, Avidity Studios, alongside production partners Social Bull Media, supported client Stephen Hendry across the ideation, production, launch and community management of his CueTips YouTube Channel.

An extension of the already successful CueTips brand, the channel has quickly become the home of great Snooker and broader cue sports content and connects the sport and current/former players with new audiences in a unique way.

WINNER of ‘YouTube Channel of the Year’ at the 2024 Broadcast Sports Awards, the channel has over 320,000 subscribers and has amassed over 85 million views.

The channel continues to grow, develop new formats and change the face of Snooker, having had a significant impact on driving new audiences to the sport.

DOUGH & CO LIVE SHOW

DOUGH & CO LIVE

Nick Dougherty and Andrew Coltart are broadcast colleagues and great friends. Having shared years travelling the Golf world on tour through their careers, they have brilliant stories and amazing insights from the world of Golf. They wanted to create a format that allowed them to deliver that content and share their friendship and ‘banter’ in a way live sport presentation doesn’t allow.

Avidity Studios worked with both Nick and Andrew to create a formatted entertainment show with Golf at the heart of it. Bringing together great guests, fascinating stories, audience engaging competitions and even a live house band.

Originated and trailed across social to evolve the format points, we partnered with the R&A to deliver a pilot LIVE show in-front of a huge crowd at the 150th Open Championships in St Andrews.

Off the back of the pilot success, a live tour of the show is now in development.
